Emberpage

Terms of Use

Effective 17 August 2026 · End User License Agreement for the Emberpage iOS app

This is the agreement between you and Emberpage. It covers what you may do with the app, how coins and Premium work, and what happens if something goes wrong. Installing or using Emberpage means you accept it.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Emberpage on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, rent out, reverse-engineer or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

2. Your account

Emberpage creates an anonymous account on first launch so your library works immediately. You may upgrade it to a full account with an email address and a password, which lets you sign in on another device. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us at support@emberpage.pro if you believe it has been used without your permission.

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is erased.

3. Coins

Coins are a virtual in-app currency used to unlock individual chapters. They are a limited licence to access content inside Emberpage, and nothing more:

Free coins from a daily bonus are a promotion, not an entitlement. We may change the amount or withdraw the bonus at any time.

4. Premium subscription

Premium unlocks every chapter of every available book for the duration of the subscription. It is offered as an auto-renewing subscription in two lengths:

PlanLengthRenews
Premium Monthly1 monthEvery month, at the price shown in the app
Premium Yearly1 yearEvery year, at the price shown in the app

Prices are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen before you confirm, and vary by App Store storefront.

Auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel the subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device; it cannot be cancelled from inside Emberpage. Cancelling stops the next renewal — the current period runs to its end, and part-periods are not refunded.

If a subscription is refunded or revoked by Apple, Premium access ends immediately.

5. Content

Books, chapters, cover art and everything else in the app belong to us or to the rights holders who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright. Your licence lets you read them inside Emberpage. It does not let you copy, redistribute, publish, translate, or use them to train a machine learning model.

If you believe material in Emberpage infringes your copyright, write to support@emberpage.pro with enough detail to identify the work and your claim, and we will investigate and remove it where the claim is well founded.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Emberpage to break the law, and do not attempt to access chapters you have not unlocked, tamper with purchase receipts, extract content in bulk by automated means, disrupt the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission. We may suspend or close an account that does any of these, without refund.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Emberpage running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or remove features and titles, and may suspend the service for maintenance. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice in the app where we can.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept them. If you do not accept a change, stop using Emberpage and delete your account.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Emberpage is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for lost data, or for lost coins or subscription time caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

9. Apple

This agreement is between you and Emberpage only — not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim you or a third party has relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

10. Governing law

Emberpage is operated from Ukraine. These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Ukraine have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory consumer law of your country or state of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, which for most consumers it does. Nothing in this section removes a protection that the law of your home jurisdiction gives you and does not allow to be waived.
